A Romantic, Intentional Wedding at Glass at Enchanted Acres in Dennison, Ohio

Some wedding days feel effortless in the best way. Calm, joyful, emotional, and full of laughter, all wrapped into one beautifully intentional celebration. This wedding at Glass at Enchanted Acres in Dennison, Ohio was exactly that.

With around 150–200 guests and perfect September weather, the day felt romantic, fun, and completely true to Bethany and Dan. There were moments of drama, moments of stillness, and moments of pure joy. Every piece of the day felt thoughtfully chosen, and the vendor team worked together seamlessly, which always makes the experience that much better.

A Calm and Anticipatory Beginning

Getting ready took place right on site in the bridal suite at Glass at Enchanted Acres, and the energy of the morning was calm and grounded. There was a quiet anticipation in the air, the kind that makes the moments before guests arrive feel especially meaningful.

Some of my favorite content from the morning came from capturing the venue itself before the day fully began. The stillness of the space, the dress hanging by the entrance, and the way the light poured in created such a peaceful start to the day.

Bethany shared a first look with her girls that was sweet, emotional, and full of excitement. Shortly after, she did a first look with her dad, and it was one of those moments that had everyone crying. His reaction was pure emotion, and it was such a beautiful reminder of how meaningful these quiet moments can be before the day picks up speed.

A Ceremony Full of Emotion and Drama

The ceremony took place outside at the back of the venue, surrounded by the beauty of the property. The space was simple yet stunning, allowing the focus to remain fully on the moment.

Bethany walked out to music as dry ice created a dramatic effect, setting the tone instantly. Since the couple chose not to do a first look, this was their true first time seeing each other. Dan’s reaction was unforgettable. He was so overwhelmed with emotion that he literally dropped to the floor, and the entire moment felt raw, real, and deeply moving.

The ceremony itself felt peaceful and intimate, even with a large guest count. It moved quickly but meaningfully, and the timeline allowed plenty of space afterward for portraits and cocktail hour. One of the things I love most about Glass at Enchanted Acres is how naturally the day flows from one space to the next.

Portraits That Felt Editorial and Timeless

Every side of the venue offers something beautiful, which makes it a dream for portraits. One standout location was the water fountain out front, where Bethany and Dan took photos that genuinely belong on the cover of a magazine. The combination of architecture, water, and light created such an elegant and timeless feel.

Throughout the afternoon, the timeline allowed for creativity without ever feeling rushed. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour while the couple soaked in the day, and the ease of movement around the venue made everything feel effortless.

A Reception That Balanced Elegance and Fun

The reception carried the same intentional energy as the rest of the day. The first dance included dry ice and cold sparklers, creating an iconic, cinematic moment that felt straight out of a dream. The room was filled with joy, and you could feel how much everyone loved and supported Bethany and Dan.

Later in the evening, the couple stepped away to the groom’s getting ready room, which had a darker, moodier vibe. It was the perfect contrast to the rest of the day. We captured content of them being goofy, relaxed, and completely themselves, while still leaning into the drama and creativity of the space. It was one of my favorite moments to get creative with content.

As the night went on, their dog even joined them at the reception, adding one more personal touch that made the day feel entirely true to who they are.

Why Glass at Enchanted Acres Is a Dream Venue for Content

From a content creation perspective, Glass at Enchanted Acres is incredible. The best lighting can be found throughout the outdoor spaces, the ceremony area, the front of the venue near the water fountain, and right at the entrance. Every angle offers a new opportunity for creativity.

The venue is easy to navigate, yet visually stunning, which allows vendor teams to collaborate seamlessly and gives couples the freedom to be present and enjoy their day. It’s a space that supports both elegance and creativity without feeling overdone.

A Day That Proved You Can Have It All

This wedding was a perfect reminder that you don’t have to choose between elegance and personality. You can have drama and softness. You can be emotional and laugh uncontrollably. You can create a day that feels elevated while still being completely yourselves.

Bethany and Dan’s wedding was intentional, joyful, and full of heart. Being part of days like this is exactly why I love what I do.
