Inside New York Bridal Fashion Week: Why this Experience Shapes How I Show Up for my Brides.

New York Bridal Fashion Week wasn’t just a trip for me — it was a dream turned reality.

When I relaunched my business in May 2025, I made it my mission to get to New York Bridal Fashion Week somehow, someway. I didn’t know how it would happen or who would invite me — I just knew it mattered. So when my very first invite came through from Galia Lahav at 7am on a random Thursday morning weeks before fashion week, it was full send from that moment on.

I booked my travel to NYC not fully realizing just how immersive the week would become. What followed was one of the most inspiring experiences of my career — and one that continues to influence how I approach wedding day content.

From One Invitation to a Full Week at Bridal Fashion Week

I attended New York Bridal Fashion Week from Monday through Thursday and found myself moving through presentations, private showings, runway shows, and content-focused experiences alongside designers, boutique owners, influencers, and creatives from around the world.

Throughout the week, I attended presentations and showings from iconic bridal designers including Galia Lahav, Berta, Jenny Yoo, Jane Hill, Julie Vino, Arava Polak, Leah Da Gloria, Amsale, Claire Pettibone, and more. I also spent a full content day capturing the latest designs for House of Savin, with fellow creatives like Victoria Percival in attendance, and attended intimate appointments with designers such as Divine Atelier and LeLee. Each experience offered a different perspective on craftsmanship, storytelling, and the artistry behind bridal fashion.

A Pinch-Me Moment That Felt Exactly Right

Walking into these rooms felt surreal — but also grounding.

There was absolutely a pinch me feeling being surrounded by top-tier bridal shop owners, influencers, and creatives I’ve admired for years. But at the same time, there was a quiet sense of knowing that I was meant to be there. Being in New York always gives me an unmatched rush of inspiration. The energy, the creativity, and the pace push you to think bigger and more intentionally.

What stood out most was being in spaces where the focus wasn’t trends or virality, but craftsmanship, intention, and experience. Every designer told a story — not just through their gowns, but through how they curated their presentations, controlled pacing, and invited people into their world.

What New York Bridal Fashion Week Changed for Me

New York Bridal Fashion Week completely changed the way I think about wedding dresses, design, and the wedding day look as a whole.

Seeing gowns up close — the weight of the fabric, the movement of a veil, the intricacy of hand-beading — was a reminder that a wedding look is never just about how it photographs. It’s about how it feels to wear it. How it moves when you walk. How it comes alive throughout the day.

It reminded me that luxury isn’t about what gets the most likes — it’s about what makes a statement to you. True luxury is personal. It’s intentional. And it doesn’t need validation from anyone else.

How This Experience Shapes the Way I Serve My Brides

Because of this experience, I show up differently for my brides.

I now approach wedding day content with an even deeper appreciation for the dress they chose, the accessories they layered intentionally, and the thought behind their entire look. I make it a point to highlight these elements thoughtfully — not just as details, but as meaningful pieces of their story.

I pay attention to how a gown moves during a quiet moment, how light hits a veil, how jewelry catches motion rather than just stillness. These are the moments that often go unnoticed, yet they carry so much meaning.

NYBFW reminded me that the smallest details often matter the most — and those are the moments worth preserving in real time.

Grateful for Every Step of the Journey

From collaborating with incredible designers to seeing gowns I’ve admired for years with my own eyes, to meeting content creator friends in real life and making new ones along the way — every moment of New York Bridal Fashion Week felt surreal.

It was everything I could have dreamed of and more. And it reaffirmed why I care so deeply about intentional storytelling, elevated details, and preserving moments as they unfold.

This experience didn’t just inspire me — it refined me. And I carry that perspective into every wedding day I’m trusted to be part of.
